We're having a real warm weekend for January in Nebraska. It isn't going to last long but it hasn't been as bad as I remember it can get up here so we are thankful for a 'mild' winter. I think more and more about relocating to Florida someday...
Lindsey has been having a tough time with fighting with her step-mother and John is blaming it all on Lindsey although Jennylu had a baby two months ago and is very likely having some hormonal depression issues, too. It is all very sad and comments Lindsey made caused John to call and read me the riot act although it wasn't needed and certainly wasn't wanted. I guess he had to blow off some steam, too. I told him I was disappointed in him for never listening to Lindsey and he went on a tirade about how Jennylu never lies or exaggerates which has to be a lie in itself knowing human nature alone and I don't believe she is an angel. And yes, I am fully aware that all of this stems from Jami's drug use as Lindsey wouldn't even be there if it weren't for that plus her bitterness that her mother continues to abuse drugs here instead of fighting for her. I don't even know that Lindsey would want her to win so much as she wants to see her fight for her.
Jeremy is still out of work and things are beginning to look pretty bleak although I likely have it figured out to survive another month here. He worked out at the Qwest Center cleaning last night for four hours but that isn't going to do much for us. He has to find a regular job somewhere doing anything that brings in a steady buck!!
I'm looking a little longingly at living in Florida these days. The cold is really hurting me all over and nothing stops the pain except for a massage or a hot bath and you can't have those all of the time. The morphine I take only controls the back pain from the herniated disc and I couldn't live without it.
